Advantix is for use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of
age and older only. It is used for the relevant
prevention and treatment of fleas, mosquitoes and ticks
including deer ticks (the major carrier of Lyme
disease), American dog ticks, Brown dog ticks and lone
star ticks. K-9 Advantix kills and repels fleas, ticks
and mosquitoes.
The
active ingredients, imidacloprid and permethrin, work
together for a quick knockdown by affecting the flea,
mosquito or tick's nervous system. Because K9 Advantix®
provides such quick knockdown of these insects it can
helpful in limiting the spread of the West Nile Virus
and Lyme Disease. It is also ideal for dogs suffering
from Flea Allergy Dermatitis.
